My creation- week 3 #6 iHCPL

week 3 # 6 Slideshow

One of the fun items that I liked was being able to do a slideshow from some of my pictures.
This could become an item with people who are visible to the arts and want to explore their talent of putting pictures together. My first badge is also a slide show. This is just cool.

motivation

At times in life we need a little push from someone. However, it seems that situations causes us to carry excess bags we really do not need. With this in mind we have to learn how to motivate ourselves. There are words we can say to our selves, some of them are:
1. Is this worth my time?
2. If I am worrying about this will it change the situation?
3. Is this something I can change.
Well, if the answer is no to all of this; then shake yourself loose, sing a song, and lift your head for joy will find itself to you.

Have someone asked you today?

Communication is the open forum. However, we are being bombarded by every one's views. No wonder subjects of all types are being explored. I suppose you are wondering what I am talking about. Well, I am rambling about the word "opinion". I did a little probing and just maybe you will find this interesting.
A belief or conclusion held with confidence but not substantiated by positive knowledge or proof: "The world is not run by thought, nor by imagination, but by opinion" Elizabeth Drew.
2. A judgment based on special knowledge and given by an expert: a medical opinion.
3. A judgment or estimation of the merit of a person or thing: has a low opinion of braggarts.
4. The prevailing view: public opinion.
5. Law A formal statement by a court or other adjudicative body of the legal reasons and principles for the conclusions of the court.

Now, I suppose you are wondering why all of this. We are often asked different questions and many times our answers are conveyed by our opinions or the opinions of others. So to sum this up it is save to say, an opinion is in the mind of the person who asked the question. Have you given one lately?

iHCPL a Learning Experience: Week 1: #1 Discovery has never been so much fun...

This is a great experience. This reminds me of the different learning styles of people. Often times
scholars are strong on the standard method which at times become boring. However, learning different
tools that can add to the learning process inhance the fun for all.

Internet safety

Internet safety is the responsibility of the individual. Some of the concepts should be common sense. I recognize the Internet is free speech, however, naturally we just don't convey information to people we do not know.

The Internet is a place to explore what is really out here, but all things are law full but not all is expedient. So for our safety it is best to think before we act. Our children are exposed to all information, but it is up to the parents and guardian, to take control as much as possible. In the process of control give the children clear instruction as to your views in your household. As you explain, allow them an opportunity to express their thoughts on the subject. Although, they are allowed to express themselves, we as parents have the final word.

As adults if we are to train our children we must also use discreation in what we do.
