I have read the different views and ideas of the effect of Web2.0. After reading these ideas I have come to the conclusion that some of this information is based out of fear. There will always be change and change is good. Libraries are not exempt from change. Technology has given us an opportunity to evolve. We are global not in just business concepts but also in the information field. Our young people are constantly bombarded with technology of all types and how is that the libraries should stay "stuck" in the old ways of doing things.I am in agreement with Windy, libraries will not be left behind we will continue to grow and expand to reach the needs of the people and at the same time the image that was once looked upon as buildings outdated with old books it will now become updated computers and technology that brings information to them. There will always be persons prepared to assist the user in obtaining the information. There is no need to fear libraries will always be around it may change names but the concept will be the same.
I am in agreement with the 2.0 manifesto I will do all I can to help move the libraries forward. Library 2.0 means LIBRARIES MOVING FORWARD for a GREATER GOOD.

Change is good! We will all have to adapt or be left behind.
